Targa Florio - The magnificent race

The Targa Florio still has countless fans today and there has probably been no a race in a more beautiful landscape. For photographer Antonio Biasioli, this is precisely why it was worth a book.

In his work, he describes the beginnings of the event up to 1967 summarised in a long chapter and dedicates another to Porsche, before describing the years 1968 to 1977 individually. The book concludes with contributions from various contemporary witnesses, including Vaccarella, Audetto and Giunti, as well as photographers and others.

As usual with Antonio Biasioli's books, the work contains a large number of photos showing not only the top cars, but also many participants in smaller classes. The texts in the book itself are in Italian, the English texts can be found in an enclosed booklet.
