This book is the companion piece to ‘Spa: Les 24 Heures de A à Z’ by Benoît Deliège. The results of all 76 editions of the 24-hour race in the Ardennes from 1924 to 2024 are printed on 192 pages, but so are the lists of the retired, unclassified, declassified, non-starters and non-qualifiers, as well as the results of the Coupe du Roi.

The statistics are supplemented by around a hundred amusing, unusual and yet true anecdotes – both together are illustrated with more than 550 photos.

Did you know, for example, that the Peugeot factory wanted to ban the starting number plate 204 on a BMW 1800 Ti in 1965? Or that the Belgian team that entered Zastavas in 1976 put the names of fictitious Yugoslavian drivers on the entry forms to pretend official participation?
