Michael Schumacher by Bernard Asset

Bernhard Asset has accompanied Formula 1 as a photographer for more than 40 years. His photographs are very varied and versatile. In addition to cars in action, he took wonderful portraits, captured the mood and atmosphere and has often photographed in the paddock of even the drivers hotels. Asset has established personal relationships to many drivers in the years. In this book series, he shows his best pictures of some legendary drivers, which are vividly accompanied by personal contributions from companions - such as team members, journalists or other drivers.

Asset has selected Michael Schumacher as the first volume in the series. The photographs show the German from his first Grand Prix at Jorden and his successful years at Benetton and Ferrari, as well as his comeback in the Mercedes team. What is particularly personal is this volume are the handwritten texts of his companions, which have been reproduced.
