Jacques Laffite by Bernard Asset

Bernhard Asset has accompanied Formula 1 as a photographer for more than 40 years. His photographs are very varied and versatile. In addition to cars in action, he took wonderful portraits, captured the mood and atmosphere and has often photographed in the paddock of even the drivers hotels. Asset has established personal relationships to many drivers in the years. In this book series, he shows his best pictures of some legendary drivers, which are vividly accompanied by personal contributions from companions - such as team members, journalists or other drivers.

This volume is dedicated to Jacques Laffite, who took six victories in 176 Grand Prix races between 1974 and 1986. He raced for both Ligier and Williams.

The book also contains some photos from his time before Formula 1.
