Ayrton Senna by Bernard Asset

Bernhard Asset has accompanied Formula 1 as a photographer for more than 40 years. His photographs are very varied and versatile. In addition to cars in action, he took wonderful portraits, captured the mood and atmosphere and has often photographed in the paddock of even the drivers hotels. Asset has established personal relationships to many drivers in the years. In this book series, he shows his best pictures of some legendary drivers, which are vividly accompanied by personal contributions from companions - such as team members, journalists or other drivers. This volume of the series is dedicated to Aytron Senna. Asset shows the Brazilian during his first career steps in karting and Formula 3, accompanies him during his first Formula 1 stints in the Toleman and Lotus teams, captures the duels with Alain Prost at McLaren and, of course, the races at Williams in 1994. The book also contains some photos from his time before Formula 1.
