Alfa Romeo entered various versions of the Tipo 33 in the Targa Florio between 1967 and 1975. In addition to several podium finishes, the two overall victories in 1971 (Vaccarella/Hezemans) and 1975 (Vaccarella/Merzario) stand out. Other drivers included de Adamich, Courage, Elford, Stommelen and van Lennep.
